I Care.

Why do we all pretend to not care?

Why do we constantly try to hold back our emotions? Why isn’t it okay for us to say how we truly feel? If someone upsets you, why do you try to act like you aren’t upset? If you love someone, TELL THEM. When did it stop being okay to care about people?

Showing someone that you care doesn’t make you weak. It just means that you care… that you have feelings. Everyone does. Why are we acting like we don’t?

Why don’t we all stop pretending that we don’t care? We all care. We all get upset. We have all given 150% to only get 5% in return. It sucks. It sucks so much to give all of yourself to someone and get nothing in return.

But that won’t make me stop caring.

I want people to know that I care about them. Sometimes I want them to know so badly that I continue to reach out to them even after they have ignored me over and over again.

Why? Because I would want someone to do that for me. I would want someone to keep coming back even after I have pushed them away.

Seriously, it’s okay to care about people. It’s okay to have feelings. It’s okay to say how you feel.

You aren’t crazy or overdramatic. You’re just being you.

  1. The way you write comes off so beautifully relatable. I read every blog and I think it’s amazing how such a gorgeous girl has broken a “societal mold” by not only being complex but voicing those complexities and her thought processes. We all know when we see someone with great esthetic appearance we figure they’re a conformist and follow societies ideas of beauty-which we shouldn’t assume, but do because of what we have learned and been shown through countless examples in media and life experiences. These girls just either play dumb because they think its cute or because they just want to “fit in”. But you don’t..your mind is beautiful, you are beautiful, and the way you’re living your life is inspirational…
Please don’t stop writing and I won’t stop reading.

I would love your feedback.
